Casino777.be launches Amaya casino | Poker & eGaming News | Scoop.it

Amaya Gaming Group Inc. (TSXV: AYA) is pleased to announce that Casino777.be, owned by Circus Group, today launches the full suite of proprietary and branded games from Amaya. Circus Services SPRL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Circus Group, has a three-year licensing agreement with Amaya, first announced on July 26, 2012.

The Casino777.be website, one of Belgium's first regulated online gaming sites, was launched in late 2011 and has quickly become the country's premier online gaming destination.

“Amaya’s suite of casino games are renowned for being highly popular with players as well as highly profitable for operators,” said Emmanuel Mewissen, CEO of Circus Group. “Amaya is enriching the players’ experience on casino777.be through a combination of high-yielding proprietary games including some of the most popular branded games like Superman and Batman and highly popular games from other major brands.”

“We are thrilled to launch the Amaya suite of games on a premium casino site like casino777.be,” said David Baazov, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amaya Gaming Group. “Our casino products are an integral part of our strategy to capitalize on the convergence of online and land-based gaming, enabling our partners to offer their clients the best of both worlds. We have established a great new relationship with a respected operator in a new market to grow our business online, and we hope to potentially expand on that relationship in the future.”

IGT/Entraction bans poker players in 50 countries - but not Italy, Nick Jones Pokerfuse

IGT/Entraction bans poker players in 50 countries - but not Italy, Nick Jones Pokerfuse | Poker & eGaming News | Scoop.it

The IGT Network, formerly Entraction, has expanded its list of blocked countries adding 20 new banned countries.

Banned countries include: Australia, Spain, Belgium, Cyprus, Turkey, Israel, Norway, Russia, Canada, South Africa, China, Ivory Coast, Monaco, Denmark, France and Estonia.

However, one notable omission from the blacklist is Italy: IGT/Entraction apparently continues to allow Italian players without the network nor any of its operators holding a license.

IGT, who purchased Entraction and rebranded it at the beginning of the year, was one of the first to receive approval in Nevada for an online poker license.

Belgium counters bwin.party 300 000 EUR per day claim, Tom Victor EGR Magazine

Belgium counters bwin.party 300 000 EUR per day claim, Tom Victor EGR Magazine | Poker & eGaming News | Scoop.it

Belgian authorities have issued a counter-claim against bwin.party after the operator sought damages over its bwin brand’s inclusion on the country’s egaming blacklist.

The Belgian blacklist now contains 30 names, more than the number of operators licensed to offer online gambling in the country. Earlier additions to the list include 888 and Winamax. Bwin is the only blacklisted operator to have launched legal proceedings against the country’s authorities in pursuit of €300,000 for every day it remained on the list.

Amaya’s Ongame expands its mobile offering in Belgium

Goldenpalace.be launches mobile poker for both Android and iOS

MONTREAL, Canada – December 6, 2012 – Amaya Gaming Group Inc. (“Amaya” or the “Corporation”) (TSXV: AYA), announced today that goldenpalace.be has chosen Amaya’s wholly owned subsidiary Ongame Network Ltd. (“Ongame”) to power its mobile poker for both Android smartphones and Apple’s iPhone and iPad. The poker application can be found in the Belgian iTunes Store by using the search term ‘Golden Palace’. Android users can download the poker application link on goldenpalace.be.

“Our poker players demanded a premium mobile offering,” said Glenn de Cuyper, Poker Manager at goldenpalace.be. “Starting today, we can meet those needs with mobile poker from Ongame.”

“The new tool for Android allows me to also play on my smartphone,” said David Janssen, member of the Golden Team, a team of amateur poker players sponsored by goldenpalace.be. “We have looked forward to this and the gaming experience is fantastic: fast and user friendly.”

“We’ve been first into every market opened so far,” said Peter Bertilsson, Managing Director at Ongame. “Ongame was one of the first to offer online poker in Belgium, and also the first to offer a complete mobile offering. Mobile has surpassed that of any consumer technology in history, being twice as fast as the Internet boom of the '90s and even three times quicker than the take-up of social media networking. bwin.party loses court case over Belgium blacklist, CasinoChoice

bwin.party loses court case over Belgium blacklist, CasinoChoice | Poker & eGaming News | Scoop.it

Bwin.party lost its appeal against its inclusion on Belgium’s egaming blacklist after a Brussels court found that its request had “no legal merit”. The operator had initially sought damages of €300,000 for each day bwin.com was included on the blacklist, however Belgian authorities launched a counter claim two weeks ago calling for an equivalent amount to be paid by the operator for each day it continued its illegal activities in the jurisdiction.
