Quarterly revenues increase for Loto-Quebec by 2% - online grew with 25%, iGaming Business | Poker & eGaming News | Scoop.it

Canadian state-run provincial lottery operator Loto-Quebec has released its second quarter financial results showing that it experienced an almost two percent year-on-year rise in total revenues to CAD$917.4 million (US$923.5 million).


Montreal-based Loto-Quebec additionally saw overall earnings increase by 2.5 percent when compared with the same period in 2011 to CAD$344.4 million (US$346.6 million) and stated that these improvements were due to ‘both good business performance and tightly controlled expenditures’.

Microgaming launches Blaze Poker, InsidePokerBusiness | Poker & eGaming News | Scoop.it

The launch follows on from PokerStars hugely succesful Zoom Poker launch, and will offer a similar gaming experience with players able to fold their hand and move immediately to a new hand at a new table.

 

Blaze Poker will offer a 'seamless' game to game transition allowing players to play up to 300 hands per hour.

 

Rival firm Relax Gaming is already live on several sites with its Fast Poker solution, which runs as a stand-alone product on sites including Unibet who operates a poker site on the Microgaming Poker Network.
