Central and Eastern European online and retail sportsbook operator Fortuna Entertainment Group NV has released its financial results for the first six months of 2012 showing that it experienced a 14.7 percent year-on-year rise in total revenues to €48.04 million.

 

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation for the six months to the end of June hit €10.13 million, which was a decline of 14.7 percent year-on-year, with Fortuna declaring that this area had been impacted by a 212 percent drop in earnings from its lottery business when compared with the same period in 2011 to post a deficit of €3 million although sportsbetting experienced a 2.3 percent improvement to €13.14 million.

Amaya subsidiary Ongame acquire new partner

MONTREAL, Canada – December 18, 2012 – Amaya Gaming Group Inc. (“Amaya” or the “Corporation”) (TSXV: AYA), an entertainment solutions provider for the regulated gaming industry, announced today that Redbet Gaming Ltd (“Redbet”) has chosen Amaya’s wholly owned subsidiary Ongame Network Ltd. (“Ongame”) for a two-year licensing agreement to power its company-wide poker business. The multi-site deal includes popular brands such as Redbet.com, Whitebet.com and Heypoker.com.

Redbet First Quarter Results, Casino Online

Malta-registered online gambling firm Redbet Holding AB released its first quarter 2012 results:

 

- Operating revenues amounting to SEK 24.5 million (Q1/2011: SEK 17.2 million), an increase of 42 percent.

- Operating profit amounting to SEK 0.6 million (Q1/2011: SEK 0.8 million).

- Profit after tax amounting to SEK 0.3 million (Q1/2011: SEK 0.6 million).

 

- Casino represented 39 percent of the group's total gaming revenue, while betting accounted for 32 percent & poker 29 percent.

 

- Casino revenues grew by 97 percent

- Betting revenues grew by 32 percent

- Poker revenues grew by 3 percent

 

- Earnings per share amounting to SEK 0.01 (Q1/2011: SEK 0.02).

- Player deposits amounting to 91.4 million (Q1/2011: 71.1 million), an increase of 29 percent

- Registered online gaming player accounts for the Group was 315 519 (Q1/2011: 167 618).

- Active player accounts amounted to 38 384 (Q1/2011: 20 636).

Redbet improve online casino revenue, iGamingPost

Redbet Holding AB, the Swedish online gambling provider has released its interim financial results for the second quarter of 2012 showing a 59% increase in operating income to $3.7 million.

 

Redbet which is based in Stockholm operates the Redbet.com, OptiBet.lv, HeyPoker.com, WhiteBet.com, GoldClubCasino.com and TotalPoker.com domains and revealed that the three-month period saw it post a profit of $30,287 compared to a loss of $272,60 for the same three months in 2011.
