Software supplier Playtech adjusted EBITDA rose 64 percent in the first half as casino sales rose and its PT Turnkey Services acquisition performed better than expected.
The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose to €91.2m (£72.3m), helped by new contracts for marketing service PTTS in places such as Asia.
Playtech revenue doubled to €153.8m over the same period a year earlier, the Isle of Man-based gambling software services company said today.
Casino sales gained 36 percent to €71.5m, while poker declined 9 percent to €9.7m. Bingo revenue gained 24 percent to €8.8m as the company added a bingo jackpot.
