More than 1 year, Ongame's launched Essence, a real-time operator and player valuation model that promotes the recruitment of recreational player. Essence has increased the number of recreatíonal players substatially and the revenues with between 5-8 % for operators focusing on recreational players.
Microgaming will starting July 1 introduce a Essence-copy called "True Value", which measure player value based on only three factors: volume, activity and win/loss ratio. Microgaming has improved their valuation model from before which only measured volume.
Microgaming is closely following Ongames business strategy and have recently even copied Ongames advisory board for operators.
