Bally applies for Alderney and Gibraltar licences, Tom Victor EGR Magazine | Poker & eGaming News |

US-facing service provider Bally Technologies has applied for a core service associate certificate with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) and has also applied for a licence in Gibraltar.

The applications come three months after the company purchased Chiligaming’s B2B igaming platform. Chili previously held an operating licence in the jurisdiction but cancelled it after merging its non-French B2C operations with Curaçao-licensed Poker770 in March.

Both applications are believed to be geared towards clearing a path for supply deals with UK-facing operators, and a spokesman for Bally said the company intended to "[Set] up our remote gaming server based out of Gibraltar."
