Anyone who is involved in Internet broadcasting or podcasting is likely already familiar with the Heil PR40 and the Electro-Voice RE20 microphones. If you watch TWiT or a hundred other networks, you’re probably going to see a PR40. If you’ve ever visited a radio station or watched a live stream from a radio studio, you’re probably going to see an RE20.

Daniel J. Lewis does an amazing job with this post. My favorite free tool that he mentions here is PicMonkey. Great to see someone who is a Photoshop expert talking about this awesome free tool.
The Ultimate Guide to Podcasting by Lilach Bullock, Co-Founder of Comms Axis. Learn which tools to use to create podcasts and where to promote your podcast
Ileane Smith's insight:
I'm sharing this one because I love any article that encourages people to start a podcast. BUT be cautious of any ULTIMATE podcasting guide that written by someone who doesn't have their own podcast.
For example, take a look at the excellent comment from my friend and fellow podcaster Bryan Goodwin:
Would like to add a couple of points to this article which has some great points. Website, your podcast needs a website. This should be the home base for your podcast and its show notes. If you have a site that uses a CMS like WordPress then you will not have to worry about using something like FeedforAll because WordPress automatically creates that RSS feed. And if you add the Powerpress plugin then you don’t even have to worry about a podcast specific RSS feed. That too is automatic. Also having your own podcast website and not relying on something like podbean that way if they close their doors you will not have to worry about losing your audience. Keep up spreading the word about podcasting!

(Turn on annotations for corrections!) Voicemeeter is a versatile "virtual audio mixer" software for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8, 32 and 64 bit. This is a one-hour webinar covering everything in the Voicemeeter software's manual, for those who would rather watch a video! (Click "Show More" for links and more info!)
Voicemeeter allows two hardware inputs (or more in some cases) to be mixed with system sounds with slider control over each level, and some strip-based processing as well. Output to monitoring devices AND broadcast or recording software can be controlled for each input. I know of no other software offering this much flexibility, and it is free to use, being monetized as donationware - pay what you can according to your means.

Buying iTunes Reviews [4:09] Is it OK to "Buy" podcast reviews in iTunes?
It seems more of an accepted strategy (as long as they are form listeners and not some fake person from fiverr). The thing to keep in mind is that you can't contact the person in iTunes. If you pick momstaxi34 as the winner, how do you co...
4. They have the ability to leave (a redirect option).
5. They have support.
The thing that makes me worry about podbean is that I can’ find a location and person. There is an address on their website, but if you go to Google Earth, we can’t verify if its a real address. The other thing that is weird is they list shows that are NOT on the network as if they are.
NOTE: Dave went over and looked and their stats have improved since the last time he looked at them, and he is going to do another review of their service.
Here are some weird things about podbean.com
They have a twitter account, but no tweets.
