D-Day veteran reported missing by care home staff is found in Normandy

D-Day veteran reported missing by care home staff is found in Normandy | News round the Globe especially unacceptable behaviour | Scoop.it

ice story although I don't think the BBC report Bernard Jordan, 89, the former mayor of Hove, sneaked out of The Pines nursing home yesterday after being told by staff he could not make the trip to Normandy.

vince tracy's insight:

Nice story although the BBC Breakfast report didn't suggest Bernard had sneaked out. He just decided to go at the last moment!

Facebook patent reveals plans to let under-13s use the site | News round the Globe especially unacceptable behaviour | Scoop.it
