WHWr2016 | Placemaking , Community Building, Network Culture | Scoop.it
Jules Rochielle's insight:
This is a pretty amazing opportunity for artists and activists from around the globe to meet in a framework that is safe and full of possibility. I was proud to participate this year and I believe in what Angela Ellsworth and Eliza Ellsworth Woloson are trying to accomplish thru this platform. Also the Museum of Walking provided me with the space to contemplate my own connection to Mother Earth in this heightened time of violence and complexity. I express deep gratitude for the opportunity to have been selected as an artist/ activist participant. I needed this opportunity to rekindle hope and inspiration to keep on my creative path of engaged and activist practice. This type of practice provided by other artists is central to caring for one another.Thank you for your work during the duration of my stay. Much meaning was generated/ much hope carried forward to a range of practices and communities that I am engaged with. May what you are trying to carry forward multiply! :
