Now that Nokia is out of the smartphone game, many of its key staff are undoubtedly considering their options. Senior Lumia engineer Ari Partinen, who Nokia calls "(our) own camera expert" has just made his choice, and it's not Microsoft. He tweeted that he'll be "starting a new chapter in Cupertino," then confirmed that his new boss is indeed Tim Cook.

Dinning was the guy behind the incredible camera on Nokia's newest flagship phone, the Lumia 920. It's one of the best camera's ever used in a smartphone.

Scalado being acquired by Nokia

Scalado being acquired by Nokia | pixels and pictures | Scoop.it
Nokia will acquire developers, technologies and intellectual property for imaging from Scalado. Nokia plans to make Scalado's headquarters in Lund a key site for Nokia's imaging software for smartphones, in addition to Nokia's existing locations in Espoo and Tampere, Finland.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close during the third quarter of 2012.
