This project’s aim is to explore ways in which school librarians can use DL open content to expand and enrich the school library’s resource base and instructional support. This project uses the newest web-based technologies to help school librarians identify DL open content, integrate open content metadata into their OPACs, and help use open content for learning.

These are more like keyboard shortcuts than like features and benefits to be used when advising clients. However, you can learn how to prevent sharing of a Google+ post (although I can't see many scenarios where that would be needed if you're a business with a Google+ presence). Delete the scoop?

I'm already using Feedly on my iPhone and iPad. My soon to be departed Google Reader RSS feed was sent there plus my Twitter chat streams as well as selected Pinterest pinners I follow. According to the Feedly blog, when Google closes, the transition should be seamless. Delete the scoop?

A "learning playlist" is a collection of sites organized by a user (teacher) to teach others any given: subject, topic, unit, etc. Best of all these playlists are very easy to create, can be embedded into a site, and be shared w/ others. Via Mike King
