There is a shortage of doctors and PA's help to provide doctor level care to all patients. PA's are cheaper and have more face to face contact than doctors have with their patients. They are more accessible and help alleviate their workload.

Medical education is always growing. To keep up to date with all the new medical information, paea educates PA's to be able to keep updated with all the new technology. This is essential o be able o practice medicine and remain able to provide the best patient care possible.

This rankings on the best PA programs around the country. It states the requirements needed to enter the courses as well as the pre rec classes that need to be taken. it also gives the price per year for the schools most are about $30,000

With the doctor shortage a PA can help patients and carry out many responsibilities that doctors can. PA's help alliviate some of the work load that the doctors might have. PA's can spend more time with the patient and get to know him/her better than the doctor can.
