In this article, I learned that your clients or what some would call peers, need to trust and accept you in order to see the best results possible. Even though you may have a degree, continued research is still appreciated within the community of physical therapy. You also need to provide all the information necessary to a patient/client so that they can make an informed decision on what they want to do.

 In my last post, I made it clear that physical therapists are more than adequately prepared, through their education and clinical experiences, to perform thrust joint manipulation (TJM). In this post, I like to address the issue of safety, more specifically, the claim that allowing physical therapists to perform spinal manipulation will prove harmful to the public. The two issues are closely interrelated.
