joe smith's comment, June 10, 2014 10:38 PM
this applies to our assessment as the first law states that an object in motion stays in motion and stopping makes it harder on our energy systems as an external force is needed then to restart ourselves again.

One month to massive: does CROSSFIT make women bulky? - TRAINING METHODS

One month to massive: does CROSSFIT make women bulky? - TRAINING METHODS | Physical Activity - What is it good for? | Scoop.it

Something strange happened towards the end of the second week. After each session, the trainer would ask whether I'd enjoyed it. "Enjoyed?" I'd ask, confused. I was half way through a month-long experiment to see whether Crossfit builds a  bigger you. After being reduced to a pathetic puddle of a person following my  first ever class, I was curious to see how it could change your body.

YEAR 11/12 HPE - TRAINING METHODS (Crossfit).

I'm positive it changes your body...depends on what a 'woman' defines as bulky...compare physiological changes made through ANY training method to those who don't train and i'm sure you could argue that they too, make an impact.  Crossfit is just the 'popular' choice right now....next year it'll be upside down pilates (hang on, that arleady exists hey?)

The debate rages on....

Are athletes really getting faster, better, stronger?

Are athletes really getting faster, better, stronger? | Physical Activity - What is it good for? | Scoop.it
When you look at sporting achievements over the last decades, it seems like humans have gotten faster, better and stronger in nearly every way. Yet as David Epstein points out in this delightfully counter-intuitive talk, we might want to lay off the self-congratulation. Many factors are at play in shattering athletic records, and the development of our natural talents is just one of them.

Me, Tyler, and Raul found this article to be interesting and useful as it relates specifically to the tough guy challenge, and the aspects of high intensity and predominantly high impact style. However in our opinion we disagree that cross fit is the best but cross fit is not a one size that fits all situation so can be modified to suit our personal improvement program .

I would say it probable wouldn't effect me if they were doing it the right way like eating enough food too keep them alive or exercising and knowing when to stop, unless they were to take it too far and starve them self to death then I would have a problem with that.
