"Monday in New York, the AFP photographer Massoud Hossaini was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in the "Breaking News" category. The prize was awarded for his photograph of a young girl crying after a suicide attack in Kabul in December 2011 killed most of her family. The Pulitzer is one of the most prestigious honors in journalism in America."

"Titus Simoens (b. 1985, Belgium) graduated from the Karel De Grote University in Antwerp, in Audiovisual Techniques and Photography in 2008.
