A first glance the Canon EOS 6D looks like a great options for real world video shooters searching for a large sensor on a limited budget. It’s video specifications are similar to its rivals – the newly launched Nikon D600 and Sony A99. In fact in many ways it is a more attractive than it’s older sibling – the 5D mkIII. It offers the same resolutions and frame rates but adds Wi-Fi and GPS into a smaller, cheaper body.

If you want to take great photographs you need to learn to see the world around you with fresh eyes. You need to see the world like a famous photographer sees it!
E. Vlietinck's insight:

The most common subjects are the hardest to "see". I always look upon photos of far away with a critical eye. It's easy to shoot a dramatic, spectacular sunset when you're in Africa, but to shoot one when you're in the suburb where you live, forces you to think out of the box.

DxOMark tested the Nikon D600 and gave it an overall score of 94:

"Nikon’s recently released consumer-oriented full-frame sensor DSLR, the D600, has just gone through DxOMark’s image quality evaluation tests. And the verdict is in: with a DxOMark Overall Score of 94, the D600 is an affordable camera that places a high premium on image quality, as it ranks just behind the top performing Nikon D800 and Nikon D800E.
