Back Bone has announced a face plate lens adapter for the GoPro Hero 3 camera. It looks like they have both C-Mount and Nikon mount adapters. This requires some minor surgery to the camera but should be well worth the effort. Finally we can use real glass on these puppies! Back Bone has no release date or price just yet. Here is a rip from the website. A Big THANKS! to @EricDiosay for the lead.

Sony cameras have come a long way over the last few years—to the point that they're competitive with the twin monoliths of Canon and Nikon. The company has accomplished this feat by making gear that's different from other stuff out there.

Newsshooter.com has followed the development of Kinefinity’s cinema cameras for a couple of years now, as they attempt to compete against the big boys like Sony, Canon and Panasonic as well as their closest rival Blackmagic Design. Since we first saw their prototype camera at a Chinese camera show the cameras have improved no end. They have reached a point where they are workable production tools with some unique features. But now Blackmagic Design have their 4K Production camera and the Panasonic GH4 is just around the corner, what can the Chinese maker do to respond?
We've been shooting with Sony's Alpha 7 and Alpha 7R over the past few weeks to get insight into how the compact full-frame cameras behave. While the two models are twins, they're by no means identical, with each sibling very quickly showing its own, distinct personality. We'll be publishing more in the coming weeks as we move towards completing our review, but we wanted to share our perspective now that we've had some experience to inform our opinion.
