Instagram has backed away from controversial changes it planned to make to its terms of service. Co-founder Kevin Systrom has used the company blog to announce that the most sensitive phrase in the terms will be revised.

Too little to late for to me. If I could find a way to get out all my family and friends to switch to G+ I'd be dumping Facebook too.

Few days ago, Noktor tweeted about a new full frame HyperPrime 50mm f/0.95 lens that is currently being tested. The exact mount is not yet known, but I have the feeling that Nikon F-mount will be one of the options. Noktor currently has a poll on their website about a potential 50mm f/0.95 lens for Nikon/Canon mounts. The new lens can be used on mFT and NEX cameras via adapter. The lens will have round aperture opening instead of hexagon shape, slide out hood and a metal ring around the lens. This will be a full frame lens and obviously will be different from the current APS-C version. The marking on the front reads “Made in Japan”.

Getting ready to move a business is just like any other move: you spend a lot of time waiting for workmen to show up: painters, electricians, plumbers, you name it. It seems Roger and Aaron got a little bored over at the new building. There wasn’t much to play with: lots of empty space, some lenses we’d started moving over, and some floor tiles they found. They had to entertain themselves somehow...
So a nice game of chess seemed like a good idea. I know: they were wrong for doing this. Very wrong. But since they did, does anybody want to rent a rather unique chess set? Shipping cost might be a deal breaker, though. Delete the scoop?
