Cat Expert Expands his Services to Include House Calls in New York City

Cat Expert Expands his Services to Include House Calls in New York City | Pet News | Scoop.it

NEW YORK, NY. — Manhattan Cat Specialists' feline expert Dr. Arnold Plotnick will make house calls in New York City.  The long-time Manhattan resident, with over 20 years of experience, has made a name for himself as owner of the Upper West Side feline-only practice, Manhattan Cat Specialists ( http://manhattancats.com ).  He has appeared as a guest on Martha Stewart, is one of the cat experts on CatChannel.com, and writes columns and feature articles for Cat Fancy Magazine.

If it’s time for your cat’s medical check-up, now you might not need to leave your home in order to see one of the top feline specialists in the country. Cats that pee, poop or vomit in their carriers need not be stressed anymore.  Veterinarian Dr. Arnold Plotnick is here to help with his in-home veterinary services.

Starting in August, Dr. Plotnick and his technician will travel just about anywhere in Manhattan for those cat owners who have a hard time dragging their cat out from under the bed for the dreaded veterinary visit.

House calls will be by appointment and available Thursdays between 9 and 5, although this may expand depending on demand.  The services provided will include physical examination, vaccination, microchipping, feline leukemia and FIV testing, subcutaneous fluid therapy, and other medical therapies as needed.  Cats that require x-rays, hospitalization, or other advanced diagnostics will be brought back to Manhattan Cat Specialists by Dr. Plotnick for further treatment.

Dr. Plotnick strives to provide expert care to all felines so if you and your furry companion could not make it to see Dr. Plotnick at his veterinary practice, he will come to you.  To inquire or schedule an appointment, call Manhattan Cat Specialists at 212-721-2287 or email mcs@manhattancats.com
