I am taking the course right now and can't tell you how much it has made me think much deeper into my practice and how though I am familiar with and use personalized learning in my room, there is so much more to learn and grow from. This course is well worth the time and provides great collaboration!

I would like to take part in the next course as I need to learn new ways of handling the amount of new research that I have to learn for tutoring, teaching and writing my lesson booklets.

Several schools and districts have signed up for their own sections of the 5 Ws. We have been receiving multiple requests so decided to open up a new section on Tuesdays starting January 20, 2015.
All webinars are archived along with chat. Participants are part of a Community of Practice that stays open. Option for 2 graduate credits or 30 PD hours.
All new content and resources. We have been learning from participants and listening so wait until you see the new eCourse.

“It’s a foundational course,” Betty Wottreng explained. “It gives us a common vocabulary; a common way to talk about it so we’re calling it the same thing. I think that’s critical for this so we’re all talking about this in the same way.”
The 5 W's of Personalized Learning course has been optional for teachers so far, just as embracing personalized learning in general has been. But the administration team has agreed every teacher must take the course soon, Wottreng said, to line up with the school board’s personalized learning timeline, which calls for personalized learning plans to be in place for the 2016-17 school year.
Learn more about the 5 W's of Personalized Learning at http://www.personalizelearning.com/p/5-ws.html. Fall Session starts on September 23rd.
