Lythanhlong's insight:

Tablets are an even more portable versions of laptops, though tablets are quite restricted compared to laptops, as they're mainly used for generic activities such as watching, viewing and taking notes. A smartphone can be carried anywhere without hassle, while a laptop is used for a majority of office-work based stuff. A tablet sits in between. It can function better then a smartphone but isn't as portable. Why a majority of people use a tablet, is because of the stylus which acts as a pen/pencil replacement instead of taking notes on paper. Tablets are an easy to use devices which run a majority of things that both smartphones and laptops are capable of.

Bluetooth technology allows electronic devices to communicate wirelessly. Learn about Bluetooth, Bluetooth headsets and how to link devices.
Lythanhlong's insight:

Bluetooth is another wireless finding that is similar to the characteristics of NFC (Near Field Communication). Both are used to share information with each other with no use of cables. In this article, there are 6 pages that explain what bluetooth does and how it functions. With NFC, it's more of a "touch and go". With bluetooth, it's similar to using Wi-Fi as it searchings for devices that share the same function. The beautiful thing about bluethooth is that, to me as a user, it's more secure. Instead of sending/receiving data from any "unknown" without any notice, both devices must first be paired up to each other with the exact password for access. Bluetooth has come a long way in terms of functionality. A majority of businessman will have a bluetooth headset connected to their smartphones to either make/receive calls. It's clear that cordless products are becoming the thing of past, technology such as bluetooth is getting a lot of recognition and use and will definitely be replacing headsets that need a cable.
