I remember well those days of online learning in the early 2000's. Where I was working Egypt and they expected that my textbooks should arrive in 2 days and so they would not allow me to ask them to be sent in the summer when I was in the United States. The time has moved forward and from their view on being ''prejudiced'' against time zone and internet reliability is very important to note. If the world wide web (is actually world wide) more consideration needs to be taken into account of when times are set to meet. It is time to think ''out of the box'' especially with MOOC or any online learning that involves people from all over the world. We need to make the learning and meet times ''accessible'' to all considering internet speed (and government regulations on what is ''allowed' in'') and time zones.
