Why Listening Is So Much More Than Hearing

Why Listening Is So Much More Than Hearing | Personal Development News | Scoop.it

While it might take you a full second to notice something out of the corner of your eye, turn your head toward it, recognize it and respond to it, the same reaction to a new or sudden sound happens at least 10 times as fast.

True or False? Pay Attention to Structure to Tell if a Story is Made Up

True or False? Pay Attention to Structure to Tell if a Story is Made Up | Personal Development News | Scoop.it

"Psychologists and psychotherapists have long relied on the power of narrative storytelling to help their patients make sense of their world. In fact, it's been said that we are our narratives.
