Hi Stan, I hear your complaint there and I must say that you are not the only one seeing that issue.

I have been reporting interoperability issues with other services since at least a year but to no avail. Unfortunately new features and support for mobile devices seem to have a priority on fixing the foundations first.

Not only can third parties tell a lot about your personality, sexuality, and politics by examinging Facebook Likes (see Researchers predict IQ, age, and more using only Facebook Likes http://sco.lt/522wPh), mapping your Twitter interactions can tell a lot about your social interactions as well.

 

When localized to the employees of a corporation, as a researcher did with Twitter, you can learn a tremendous amount of information about how the company works and what it's working on.

I actually watched this video the first time we went to the computer lab in gauge just because it caught my eye. I think that this is a cool way to show different landforms and how some of the ecosystems processes work with and around them. I feel that this video encompasses geography as a whole. Seeing the way that the water falls around the mountain made in the video and where it ends up pooling is a good example of natural geography. When looking at the area the lake is now centered a viewer can see where a potential colony or group of people may live in this are. This all depends on closeness to resources such as water, arable land, and potential food supplies. All of this depends on the physical occurrences that you can see in this video. This video also helps to tie in the lesson in class about geomorphology. The creation of dremmels by glaciers, runoff from the mountains, and plate tectonics. These topics can be taught through a power point, but it really helps to see all of this created and the process it takes.

This is a cool way to show the different landforms and the potential use of the surrounding area. It shows us where people could migrate to and start a community and the resources it may have. It also shows the geomorphology of how the landforms were made. I agree with David when he says that these topics can be taught through a power point but to get a real understanding of how they are created and the process it takes, this is the best way to learn.

  • Give the viewer a takeaway: Provide the viewers of your Vine video with a clear idea of what you want them to take from it. Simply stating what you hope the viewer gets from your video in a brief sentence can make all the difference.

Want to use Vine in your marketing campaign? This article gives a few helpful tools on how to use it. 

Because the video is so short, 6 seconds, you need to make sure you really know what your message is about and you get straight to the point. Make sure you provide context to the video in the tweet or caption to make sure the viewers understand what they are watching. Lastly, provide a take away. Let the viewers know what you want them to get out of it. Just say it in a brief sentence. I think all of these points are important because if you only make the 6 second video is can leave a lot of confusion for the viewer. 

Somethings they suggest you make videos about are showcasing recent work for a client, commenting on industry trends, and offering an inside look or advise. I think all of these are good ideas. I think you should do a mix off all three of these to be effective. By commenting on industry trends and offering advise, you become a trusted advisor to your viewers. Then when you add pictures of your own work, you solidify the fact that you are reputable and you can offer valuable information.
