Owned, Paid ou Earned ? Je ne suis pas très fan des anglicismes, mais ce triptyque semble être la norme pour décrire la répartition des budgets de présence d’une marque sur le web. J’imagine que vous en avez déjà entendu parler maintes fois, d’ailleurs de nombreux blogueurs en ont livré leur interprétation :

Looking Beyond Paid, Earned, Owned Media: The Brandsphere Infographic, une représentation assez complexe qui mélange malheureusement trop de notions ;
Earned & Social Media Strategy – What’s the Difference?, un schéma plus simple, mais avec une attribution des supports très particulière ;
Four Pillars of Internet Marketing, une explication limpide des quatre types de médias digitaux (Owned, Paid, Shared et Earned), mais aucune précision sur l’agencement.
Bref, tout ça pour dire que je n’y trouve pas mon compte, donc je vous propose ma propre interprétation. Mais avant de vous livrer mon schéma, je souhaite revenir sur les différentes phases de maturation pour bien comprendre la situation dans laquelle nous nous trouvons.

I love this article's tone in terms of its focus on the value of time & generosity.  It ends with a thank you to Biz Stone. "He made the radical decision to hire an employee at Twitter who would focus on social good (me) long before hiring his first sales person".  In this hire, the article connects us to someone who "imagines" far beyond the immediate needs of an organization.

If you're not concerned about what you are inadvertently sharing on Facebook, perhaps the following paragraph from this article will change your mind:

 

"According to the researchers, the system they developed was 88% accurate for determining male sexuality, 95% accurate in determining African-American from Caucasian, and 85% accurate in differentiating Republican from Democrat. The system was also able to classify whether a person was a Christian or Muslim 82% of the time. Interestingly, the system was able to detect substance abuse about 73% of the time."
