A: I think that school libraries and school librarians will continue to be integral for the learning success of students. However, the traditional role of the school librarian will definitely be different. The school librarian will take a more active role in teaching technologies to students, staff, administrators and the community. The school librarian will be active in assessment and data-driven decision making. The school librarian will be teaching partner with a focus on ethical use of material, social networking, and on finding, using, and applying authoritative information that supports individual needs as well as the curriculum.
