Broadcast your hangout to the world for free - Google+

Broadcast your hangout to the world for free - Google+ | Pedagogy and technology of online learning | Scoop.it
Go live in front of a global audience, whether you're an aspiring artist, a global celebrity or a concerned citizen.
diane gusa's insight:

One key feature of Google+ Hangouts is the ability to live stream the video-conferences. This is done using the feature call Hangouts On Air. Hangouts on Air have the same feature set as regular Hangouts, but the events are live streamed on YouTube and are automatically archived on YouTube. This allows participants from anywhere in the world to view the conversation as it takes place or watch it later at the same link! This may be especially useful for courses that are taught at a distance.

How to Start Using Feedly - YouTube

How to log-in, find content, and organize content in Feedly.
diane gusa's insight:
Real Simple Syndication (RSS). The best and most common analogy for RSS is like having a magazine subscription deliver the magazine to your door instead of having to go to the store to see if a new issue is out. If you subscribe to a blog or another sites RSS feed, you’ll get updates in your RSS reader, which is a tool for collecting all of your subscriptions. It’s a time saver because you don’t have to go to a blog, for example, to see if it has been updated.
