We keep getting asked "where is the Start Menu??!!" As Win8 becomes the default on new PCs, many people just wish they could load the familiar Desktop along with the accompanying Start Menu. There are other applications that help you accomplish this. However, Skip Metro Suite is the only one (that I am aware of) that helps you do both all in one place. Look for the grey Download button towards the bottom of their page (http://winaero.com/download.php?view.33). It can have lots of other confusing download buttons. Ignore them. Step by step instalation instructions from c-net.com The program is free. However, satisfied users are encourage to make donations. If you donate, best do it through a single paypal transaction. Struggling Yahoo has just landed itself a nice little deal with it's integration of Yahoo Mail to Dropbox. This may not a a threat to the likes of Google whigh offers the larger Drive, but it is still significant. Delete the scoop?

While Windows 8 is not setting any records in sales, it is standard pretty much in all new PCs. One of the main complaints is the missing Start Menu. Of all the ways out there to restore this functionality, Stardock Start8 and Classic Shell are among the best. Give the latter a try. It is open-source and free.

Multiwindow, multitasking features in Samsung's Android 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy Note 10.1 push Android's user interface into new territory, adding Windows-like capabilities that are sure to delight many users — and aggravate others.
