Stripe promoted itself as easy and simple online payments. They must have realized that payments pose quite a few security issues (AHA!). Two-factor authentication is great but it seriously slows down and complexifies the payment process. Delete the scoop?

It is funny how Internet pureplayers so often brag about how "much simpler" their transaction processes are: one click, no registration, etc. (see Stripe for ex.) and rarely about how unsafe these are. In the end, when crime hurts the bottom line so much that security spending passes the ROI point, they turn like everybody else to stronger authentication. Delete the scoop?
