Former Coronation Street actor Andrew Lancel today denied sex attacks on a teenage boy.
Lancel, 42, appeared at crown court where he pleaded not guilty to six counts of indecent assault of a child under the age of 15.
The court heard the allegations relate to one male and from 1993 and 1994 when Lancel was in his early 20s and was training to be an actor.
Lancel, who played Frank Foster in Corrie, was told today his trial would start on June 3. It is expected to last five days.
The star, who appeared in the ITV soap from January 2011 until March 2012 when his character was murdered, was accompanied at Liverpool crown court by wife Louise.-street-1833115#ixzz2RrbzxV30
