Deftly written and directed by Im Kwon-Taek it weaves personal tradegy with attempting to revive traditional Korean papermaking and along the way has a poke at contemporary Korean culture, has a few gentle laughs and resolves in a very human way - and has quite a lot of papermaking - most importantly.
Papernomads are sleeves and covers which capture our experiences as quick scribbles, coffee stains, finger prints, telephone numbers or the occasional lipstick impression. Not unlike a diary, they document our experiences and create reference points in time for us to remember.
