VCTransitionsLibrary: Transition lib for iOS7

VCTransitionsLibrary: Transition lib for iOS7 | PandaLit | Scoop.it

With iOS 7 you can easily create custom view controller transitions that can be used in a range of contexts (push, pop, modal …). This project provides a library of custom animations which can be dropped directly into your project. It also has a number of 'interaction controllers' which can be used with any of the custom animations in order to make your transitions interactive.

The library currently contains the following animations, which can be made interactive with either a swipe or pinch gesture.

MSCellAccessory - a UITableViewCell accessoryType can easily customize the colors. | PandaLit | Scoop.it

MSCellAccessory is a UITableViewCell accessoryType can easily customize the colors.

Many developer really want to customizing UITableViewCell accessoryType color. but, they using a customized png image are solved. but this method is not good. because Unnecessary to create an image file, and each would have to create all colors. and Loading it unnecessarily increases the capacity of the memory.

If using a this library is more easily customizing accessoryType and more flexible via Programmatically.

PaperFoldGallery : displays multiple views in a paginated UIScrollView using PaperFold library

PaperFoldGallery : displays multiple views in a paginated UIScrollView using PaperFold library | PandaLit | Scoop.it
PaperFoldGallery for iOS

The first level is a paginated UIScrollView that displays views in each page. The second level contains 2 PaperFold views that are folded/unfolded/hidden depending on the scroll view offset. These views show a folded screenshot of the views below it, and are hidden once the UIScrollView snaps to page.

The subviews can be any UIView subclasses, so it can be static view, or other views like UITableView.

The library takes a screenshot often to get the state of the view below it. If you are using static views, you can improve the unfolding performance by providing screenshots.

Capture a Signature on iOS

Capture a Signature on iOS | PandaLit | Scoop.it

"The Square Engineering Blog has a great article on Smoother Signatures for Android, but I didn't find anything specifically about iOS. So, what is the best way to capture a users signature on an iOS device?

Although I didn't find any articles on signature capture, there are good implementations on the App Store. My target user experience was the iPad application Paper by 53, a drawing application with beautiful and responsive brushes.

All code is available in the Github repository: SignatureDemo."

Harpy: notify your users to new versions of your app | PandaLit | Scoop.it

Harpy is a utility that checks a user's currently installed version of your iOS application against the version that is currently available in the AppStore. If a new version is available, an instance of UIAlertView is presented to the user informing them of the newer version, and giving them the option to update the application.

RNBlurModalView

RNBlurModalView | PandaLit | Scoop.it

RNBlurModal adds depth to the traditional modal/alert view. Calling the view is incredibly similar to setting up and showing a UIAlertView. You can also setup your own custom views and display them with a blurry background. The goal is to truly draw the user's focus directly to your alert using natural effects. This project works on all iOS devices at all orientations with ARC.

FlatUIKit: a collection of iOS components styled with the "Flat UI" | PandaLit | Scoop.it

FlatUIKit is a collection of iOS components styled with the "Flat UI" aesthetic that we created while building Grouper for iPhone. Its design inspiration comes from Flat UI and Kyle Miller. Styling is implemented via categories on/drop-in replacements for existing UIKit components, so integrating it into your project is very straightforward.

OAuth2 for iPhone and iPad applications - Luke Redpath

If you're wondering why its been a bit quiet around here of late, its because I've been hard at work on my first iPad application, a client for 37 SignalsCampfire. I'll be talking about that more in another blog post but today I want to focus on something else: OAuth2.

I was invited by 37 Signals' Jeremy Kemper to try out their in-progress Launchpad + OAuth2 integration platform. I was happy to: the resulting integration would mean a more secure and streamlined experience for my app's users. Instead of having to add all of their individual Campfire accounts one at a time, they could simply sign in with their 37 Signals identity once and have all of the accounts associated with their ID imported into the app in one go.
