The 'flipped classroom' has been radical for people who still lecture in a transmission style, but is not so different for teachers who already use constructivist learner-centred teaching strategies.

Yes, I agree entirely - what I liked about this article is the recognition that it could be done really badly if the foundations of it are misunderstood - and this seems more likely to happen in the corporate world which is prone to going with what it sees as cost-effective quick fixes instead of longer term investment in people using sound pedagogy.
