At the heart of resistence to change is fear of the unknown and simultaneously, a difficult time believing in something that is unknown ... that is the change itself.

 

A leader's challenge is to guide the organization through this discovery process, to make everyone a part of making the changes.  Easier said than done ... but these 5 steps are helpful in thinking about how to mobilize folks to become the engine of change.

Although the article talks about leadership transition, and uses the Pope and President Obama, the article has some good ideas of how CEOs can prepare a transition within their companies.

Seriously, where is in this post one thing what is soooo new...? Of course, people and their behavior, engagement, alignment (this is missing above!!) are the keys... if the change is that they communicate better, then, it's not change, it's improvement of the present process... change is when you have a merger, when your company buys another one, a key new product is coming, you revise the whole process flow... these are changes not that ou are giving over the sales lead or not... Jesus...
