Be more mindful for a better workplace

Be more mindful for a better workplace | Organisation Development | Scoop.it

"Can you be a success in the world of business and still be mindful? What exactly does it mean to be "mindful" anyway? According to Mirabai Bush, one of the creators of a mindfulness course developed for Google employees called "Search Inside Yourself," you will be more productive and motivated if you use respect, compassion and generosity in the workplace.

"Sometimes people think being mindful means being slow — it's not about being slow, it's about being slow enough that you can pay attention to things. It requires a certain intelligence to be able to focus on many things at the same time."

Why Remote Workers Are More (Yes, More) Engaged

Why Remote Workers Are More (Yes, More) Engaged | Organisation Development | Scoop.it

Struggling Against the Invisible Bureaucracy of Organizational Culture | Leader's Beacon | Organisation Development | Scoop.it

Most managers struggle against the flow of overly complex structures and systems and are often frustrated by an invisible force that undermines their attempts to affect positive change. Their instincts tell them that the organization’s culture and people are preventing them from getting the results they want, but “culture” remains one of the least understood aspects of organizational life.
