Analysis of data from a research study performed in Canada has revealed that Kidney transplant patients live longer than those receiving intensive home hemodialysis.

 

A first-ever study from a large Canadian centre has found that kidney

transplant recipients lived longer and had better treatment success regardless of what type of donor kidney that they received. 'Kidney transplant is still the best treatment option says Dr Chris Chan (pictured) who is a nephrologist at the Toronto General Hospital.
