UMS Programming Director Michael Kondziolka was recently named a Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters from the French Minister of Culture. This distinction recognizes eminent artists and writers, and those who have contributed significantly to furthering the arts in France and throughout the world. Kondziolka receives the award in recognition of his significant contributions to bringing French performing arts to the United States.
