This article is timely given the need for the ambassador of the Czech Republic to release a statement to explain that the Czech Republic & Chechnya are in fact different places. I had an idea that this area of the world is complex in its linguistic, cultural & political make up. I must admit though I had no idea it was as complicated as it is. Absolutely fascinating!

Researchers have reported five strategies that can help to improve the value of a cherished relationship. This research has been published online in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships. “Relationships are like cars in that you have to do certain things to keep them running, especially when your goal is to strengthen and preserve your bond with your partner,” Brian Ogolsky, a U of I professor of human and community development, said in a statement. Researchers in this study worked on 35 research studies including 12,273 individual reports to check for the factors that are important in enhancing good relationships. They reported that the openness, positivity, assurances, shared tasks and a shared social network are the strategies that can be used to increase the beauty of a relationship.
