Meg McAlister's curator insight, November 16, 2014 10:23 PM

This article is intended to be an advertisement for the future of photography and film making targeted at the average American. This product is intended to capture "adventures" an assumed pass time of the average citizen.

This article has challenged by perspective on the demographic behind God's Eye View. What is now the reality of aerial viewpoints will be drastically shifted in the next few years. This article demonstrates that we have the capability to mass produce aerial drones for film making and it also points out that the only hindrance to the mass distribution of this product is cost. As with most projects which were at one time rooted in the hypothetical, research costs are being integrated into the cost of production keeping the finished work slightly out of the reach of the average citizen. However if this cost were to be defrayed over the production of several units this would substantially lower the cost. It is only a matter of time before this shift takes place. With it we will witness how the God's Eye View is at the fingertips of every American with access to a smart phone.
