Retargeting, the future of social advertising (in my humble opinion), is the use of browsing history to target users with advertisements.

Twitter is finally joining the crew and allowing marketers to submit their cookie data through an advertising program - likely one that they're already using for Facebook - to retarget users with their ads.

This is big for Twitter following their IPO which left something to be desired, especially with their lack of revenue.

Forecasting SEO trends for local is quite difficult – primarily because I know in my heart of hearts that local SEO isn't a trend, phenomenon or fad. Local – along with personalized search – is a necessary evolution to truly optimize the search experience for users across the globe. It is a mindset that SEO professionals can't "arrive to" late.

The best take away... Don't do it unless you can keep up with it!

Maintain a blog.  Many companies will start one, but as deadlines and other work crops up, the posting and maintenance will peter out.  Think of your blog as an SEO priority.  Commit to posting content relevant to your industry or company twice a week.

Involve coworkers, interns, and if the budget allows for it, freelance writers to help. Create a news feed on your company website, and update it frequently with events, company milestones, client news, anything that is relevant to your business and industry, and that organically uses your keywords to help boost search rankings.

WHO CARES ABOUT SHORT META DESCRIPTIONS?

A number of balls are in the air for most clients at any given moment.
