For better #media interviews, I recommend reading Lou Hoffman's post on how journalists approach them. Excellent tips here, including silence (as both interviewer and interviewee) from Sam Whitmore. In fact, these insights are relevant for all kinds of conversations, not just #PR. #storytelling

Yep. It's all about the listening when it comes to telling good stories. Whether it's for PR or leadership, being able to listen to others before you tell their story or choose an appropriate one of your own is absolutely crucial. Otherwise, as is pointed out in the article, you'll miss the mark and come up with cabbage.

The story is the driving force, whether it is in the field of reporting, or marketing, or even teaching. The pressure of finding a story good enough to tell, and being able to do so in an interesting manner can make all the difference to the news report, or the boardroom presentation before the takeover, or even the class room on jurisprudence!
