Woohoo My 300th Post! Plus a Comment on EN Review by Len Clements

Woohoo My 300th Post! Plus a Comment on EN Review by Len Clements | Online Business from Home | Scoop.it

You know, I can knock out a reasonable post in less than an hour after so much practice.

Plus I can add a video, and many suitable well linked pictures, regularly get over 90% onpage SEO, then I can get over 800 backlinks within a few weeks using several software programs such as Social Monkee, Spin Rewriter and Spin Distribute.

I can track every item on my posts as people click on them. I know how to share in multiple places online, including sites where I have to cloak my links.

I can search for and select suitable keywords and integrate them into my posts without looking too obvious.

Sue Tamani's insight:

We don’t always have to be right. We just need to have a belief in something.

If you believe you can make money selling training products to people who want to market online, then Empower Network is for you (whether you personally use those products or not).

The Most Astounding Fact – Neil deGrasse Tyson | Online Business from Home | Scoop.it

Time magazine once asked astropysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson 10 questions.

One of those questions asked by a Time reader was “What is the most astounding fact you can share with us about the Universe?”

Neil’s response is very awe-inspiring, especially when brought to life in this video which is a compilation from various sources by Max Schlickenmeyer.

Our knowledge of the universe and where we come from is known more today than at any time in history.

Sue Tamani's insight:

Have You Ever Seen the Australian Sulphur Crested Cockatoo – a Really Colourful Parrot?

I see them every day, everywhere. I hear them also, screeching and shouting, playing and loving life!

Whenever they alight in a gum tree, they start swinging upside down and teasing one another.

To me, they are the airborne equivalent of dolphins, the way they play around.

Whenever my husband and I live overseas for any extended period of time, the thing I really miss are the bird calls.

Sue Tamani's insight:

I also tell the really amazing story of my Grandfather who had one of these sulphur crested cockatoos as a pet in England many years ago. After having the bird over a few years, it had copied my Grandad’s language and could swear like a trooper! .......

IFTTT Makes the Internet of Things Handy

IFTTT Makes the Internet of Things Handy | Online Business from Home | Scoop.it
IFTTT = If This Then ThatIFTTT is a web service that leverages the internet to automate and execute powerful actions. This startup could play a large part in developing the Internet of Things.

Explaining IFTTT to somebody unfamiliar with the service can be a difficulty. The explanations are typically too unclear (“IFTTT helps people make easy connections between anything on the Internet,” clarifies cofounder Linden Tibbets) or so complicated they go over individuals’ heads.

A testimony to the Internet of Things, a buzz phrase that describes networked smart gadgets starting to saturate our lives, IFTTT accomplishes actions on the web when networks are caused. These activities are based on its namesake recipe: If this, then that. It’s an easy idea with endless possibilities.

Up until a few weeks back, IFTTT had actually existed only as a desktop site. A year in the making, constructing the app came with a set of obstacles as IFTTT was adapted for individuals on the go.

Sue Tamani's insight:

Could it be IFTTT which essentially democratizes the Internet of Things?

What is the Easiest Way to Make Money?… or The Lazy Man’s Way to Earn $11,050 in one Day | Online Business from Home | Scoop.it
So what IS the easiest way to make money? This is – but don’t check it out until you’ve read the story.

…. Have you ever seen the movie “Rudy”?

If not, make sure to as soon as possible … Rudy is the story of Daniel “Rudy” Ruettiger.

Rudy’s family was broke.  He had no athletic skills.  He wasn’t very smart (turned out he was dyslexic).  He was a horrible football player.

Then one day, Rudy’s reality was ‘flipped’ on it’s head.

Sue Tamani's insight:

So this is a VERY special video for you… Because not only will you meet Beau, and hear exactly how he was able to go from barely making ends meet…

To earning more in a DAY than most do in THREE MONTHS…

You will understand clearly how to tap into these Gold Nuggets and learn actionable,
and duplicatable strategies which have produced insane results for thousands of people worldwide…

(this process is outlined for you in the video and gives you a chance to use it for yourself)

So stop asking yourself what is the easiest way to make money cos this system has the answer for you, for anyone.

Tony Rush just Posted This Great Comment on FB: Taking Responsibility

A great deal of self-reliance comes from just choosing to NOT be immobilized by a lack of information.

For instance, if you have a question about Aweber, you have a couple of options.

1. You can ask your sponsor and do nothing until you hear back from her. The fact that she’s on vacation means you’ll be stuck on that issue until she responds in a week when she gets home.

2. You can come ask the Extreme Team group here. Not a bad choice. But, it still puts you in “hold” mode.

3. You could consult Aweber’s excellent online help directory (unless your question is related to specific letters or links we provide here in the Extreme Team.)

Or

4. You could say, “If my sponsor got abducted by aliens and the Extreme Team vanished…..what would I do RIGHT NOW to stay in forward motion?”

Sue Tamani's insight:

What Tony didn’t suggest was recommending people taking responsibility for their online business by googling anything they are stuck on.

Taking responsibility and just typing the complete question into google, guys!

So step into your future now and declare your decision to drive through all obstacles until you achieve what you dream of – begin taking responsibility for your own thoughts and actions.

Obstacles – Are They Real or Imagined?

What Obstacles do you thing you are facing?

This question could mean different things to you than me. You might be thinking of an obstacle course where you have to jump over and through things to get to the end.

Do you think of bad circumstances in your life that prevent you from doing what you want?

Do you approach perceived obstacles with fear or excitement?

Maybe you just never see any obstacles at all, maybe you dream of something and just go for it, not letting anything get in the  way.

Sue Tamani's insight:

Yesterday I chatted to a friend of mine on skype who is in jail in Iceland who has sponsored 11 people into the Empower Network.  Plenty of obstacles in his way, eh?

The basic idea listed here is to set up a lead capture web page or another kind of alluring offer and simply direct web traffic to the deal. Done appropriately this will certainly create leads from the cold market then the procedure goes like this:

1. Talk to lead by phone, email or direct-mail advertising.
2. Guide the prospect to examine a straightforward presentation.

Key 5 – Go For It – 5 Magical Keys to Selling Success

Go For It

You have to take action and go for it before the strategy is perfectly clear, because there is no perfectly clear perfect strategy that works every single time, the exact same way every single time. If there was, we’d all be zillionaires!

Let’s just be real here for a second. Nothing’s perfect. Right? There’s nothing perfect in life.

Blog Every Day

If I say “go for it and blog every day“, someone says, “Well what’s the exact title I need to write in my blog?” There’s always someone in a webinar who asks some dumb question like that. Well, there is no best title, just start blogging!

And make your titles better as you write your 50th post! Right?

Sue Tamani's insight:

You have to take action and go for it before the strategy is perfectly clear, because there is no perfectly clear perfect strategy that works every single time, the exact same way every single time. If there was, we’d all be zillionaires!

Apprenticeships in Network Marketing and Direct Selling

Are You Looking for Apprenticeships?

Just like any other trade, skill or business, before you can be successful in online marketing, you need training.

Why not go for the very best training, all in one location.

Sue Tamani's insight:

Do you remember doing training where you had to buy a set of text books?

At the end of your courses, you either kept those books collecting dust in your bedroom or tried to sell them at a mightily reduced price to the next people going into the course you just finished.

You needed to sell those books quick smart or they were out-of-date and worthless.

I have a business where all those problems of waste are solved.

What Do You Know? I Don’t know Everything.

What Do You Know? I Don’t know Everything. | Online Business from Home | Scoop.it
Apart from Your Parents, Has Anyone Ever Asked You “What Do You Know?”

If you believe something is going to happen and you work like it will, magic happens. The more you believe in magic, the more it happens.

David Wood (CEO of Empower Network) uses the word ‘magic’ to describe things that happen that he is not sure of why.

It doesn’t matter if you call it magic, you could call it whatever you want to call it.

The more that you believe that powerful things will happen in your life, the more they tend to happen. It’s unbelievable how consistent that is.

Sue Tamani's insight:
So the profound thing this guy said was” Why don’t I believe stuff that’s useful to me?” ”Why don’t I construct beliefs about life that are useful to me? Why not do it like this – if something is useful to me in my life, why don’t I believe a bit more in that?”

That’s really interesting.

We often forget how recent the Smartphone is. The first versions came out in the late 1990s, less than 15 years ago, and offered features such as email, web browsing, qwerty keyboards and cameras.

The smartphone of today, with touchscreen, high speed internet capability and myriad apps, was first introduced by Apple in 2007. Since then more than 1 billion smartphones have been sold worldwide. And smartphone usage will continue to grow.

Last year, roughly 50% of the US population had a smartphone.

However, there was one “black sheep” in my family, my brother Peter. He is the second youngest and 11 years younger than me. I vividly remember him coming home from his first day at school telling us how he had been put in the corner for being naughty.

Peter is the only family member who has not been to University.

So if Peter’s story as a member of the school of fail resonates with you, you can change any bad outcomes you may have experienced since then and enroll in further education and training here in the Empower Network.

Setting Boundaries: 6 Powerful Steps to Take
1.) Turn off the background crap in your life.

I’m not talking about fun things here. Go do your fun things, things you really enjoy.

Go listen to music and dance. Some people like singing and listening to the radio.

Well great, put it on. Right?

We’re not talking about that, we’re talking about not setting boundaries and wasting your creative energy on bullshit.

Which is what most of your creative energy is probably going on if you’re not getting the results you want.

Most people’s creative energy is tied up holding on to negative belief systems and patterns that they have held onto their entire life.

You have to learn over a period of time to let go of that garbage in order to move on in this life.

You do need to learn some of the technical side but I've gotten by for years with just basics. It does help to have a great web host. I have been using Hosting Matters for several years and really like them. I can ask for help and feel stupid asking but they always help me and never make me feel foolish. I don't think you should jump into a software which "does it all for you". The problem with this set up is that they do more than you ask. Often this kind of set up is going to run a script which could be malware or misdirect people from your site to something of their own. You may not even know about it because the people will just never get to your blog. It is hard to beware of scams when you avoid learning the technical side. So try to learn more -push yourself.
Laura Brown's comment, July 27, 2013 4:14 PM
WordPress is easy to make a back up of your blog. All you do is export the whole thing as a file. Save it to your computer right from the blog. Using WordPress is good because it has a lot of community support for new design, marketing and technology.
