58% of Mobile Shoppers Prefer Phones Over Salespeople | Online and Mobile Shopping | Scoop.it
While many shoppers aren't using their phones in stores to help them decide what to buy, most of those who do would rather turn to their mobile device than a salesperson for help. While shopping in a

Infographic: Tablets: The Hype is Over

Infographic: Tablets: The Hype is Over | Online and Mobile Shopping | Scoop.it
This chart shows a worldwide mobile device sales forecast.
Charles Young's insight:

An interesting insight but from the large amounts of research that I have done regarding the Tablet there is expected to be more growth than what this chart suggests. I've seen research suggesting that Tablets will continue to to eat away at the laptop market in the years ahead.

Phablets are cool and I can see how they could erode the Tablet market but they are not very practical to carry about (unless you own a handbag) - i've just decided to buy the iPhone 6 as the Plus was just to big to control one handed (and I have a big hand), I have a mini at home which I use when not 'mobile'.

Very Interesting to see how this all pans out.
