They say, psychologically, humans always need a "because". Any stat, any direction, any order is more impactful, and questioned less, when there is a "because" behind it. (For kids... they don't even need the reason.. the word "because" will suffice). Unless someone fundamentally objects to your "because", they will have a hard time arguing with you.
