Darcy Delaproser's insight:
Nashua - New Hampshire police used a stun gun on a Chinese woman who does not speak English after she was told to leave an Apple Store for trying to buy too many iPhones.
Xiaojie Li, 44, was shopping for iPhones for family members in China at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua when she was told to leave the Apple Store because she was trying to purchase too many of the phones. Store policy limits customers to two phones each. Li claims she saw other customers buying multiple iPhones and she attempted to record video of them doing so.
"The manager of the Apple Store came and told her something, but she didn't understand," Li's daughter told WMUR.
Nashua police officers, who were providing security for the Apple Store, got involved after Li allegedly refused to leave the store after being repeatedly asked to do so by employees. Police claim that Li resisted when officers attempted to arrest her and that's when they decided to use a Taser on her.
"My mom says she doesn't know why they called police the because she doesn't understand what they are talking about," Li's daughter told WMUR.
Video of the incident shows Li writhing on the floor, screaming in agony as she is shocked with the powerful stun gun. A photo also shows bruises on her wrists and forearms.
"They threw her on the ground, they threw her around, they bruised her all over the place," Li's fiance John Hugo told CBS Boston.
"Her sense of security is shattered," Hugo continued. "She wants to go back to China now because she's afraid of civil rights violations in America. Think about that."
Nashua police say they did not use excessive force because they gave Li 10 minutes to comply before resorting to arrest.
"For whatever reason the store did not want her there," Nashua Police Captain Bruce Hansen told CBS Boston. "And this time of year, you've got to do something pretty extreme to want a store owner to not want to do business with you."
Nashua police said the incident is under review. Li said she's hired an attorney to fight the two misdemeanor charges against her.
It's hard to believe people would confess to a heinous crime they didn't commit, but they do -- especially teenagers -- and there is no place in the U.S. where this has occurred more than in Chicago. Byron Pitts reports.

Darcy Delaproser's insight:
if you want to see a WORLDWIDE end to Police brutality and deaths in Police custodyDescriptionHi a warm welcome to you...
Historically in the UK there have only been 11 unlawful killing verdicts out of over 1430 deaths and only ONE Police Officer charged (but not successfully convicted) to date. The figures definitely do not add up.
We see the painful battles families have in order to get the case to court, 4 years, seven years, bodies of the deceased being held for over a year, body mix ups in the case of Christopher Alder, enough is truly enough!
We see the corruption in the force where in the Hillsborough case statements were deleted and doctored, we need to see an end to this corruption!
Across the world the figures are growing, in South Africa recently we saw thirty miners shot and thousands of innocent people injured by Police Officers in south Africa 16th August 2012. We hear of Chavis Carter a young man detained in Jonesboro who was apparently able to shoot himself in the temple in July of this year despite being handcuffed, Robert Leone, his violence was caught on the policemans own video...please search for our news page "injustice Daily"
