SocialAction2015 is important and plays a key role by equipping our communities with the knowledge of the mishaps and social injustices in the country (USA) and around the world. By providing this exclusive complimentary service to communities everywhere, our mission is to keep our people connected by encouraging the discussion of these topics.
Copwatch Patrol Unit (CPU) while patrolling the 25th Precinct and the PSA5 housing precinct we witness a young Black male being taking in handcuff to a patrol car. While the young Black male pass by our cameras he said that he was assaulted by police in the 9th floor. Then in the same video you will hear a plain clothes police officer also confront us and says, "go record the girlfriend who was just assaulted by him".
After police left the scene, CPU hung around for another 30 minutes to see if we see the young lady that was assaulted, but no ambulance came or the young lady who police said was assaulted surface.
We did get the opportunity to speak to 3 people 1 being the member of the girlfriend family. CPU was told that they was arguing, but no one hit anyone. There was a call to 911, but it was made according to the witnesses by a neighbor. When 2 police officers arrived at the scene they got into an argument with the young Black Male and then the called into the 911 dispatch that officers needed assistance (10-13) and an army of militarize police officers showed up.
CPU Presence there is to empower the community into taking action when they see police and civilian encounters. CPU is not there to judge, but to document and share with the world. Police have always been aggressive with civilians and many times civilians end up hurt or Kill. CPU wants the NYPD and Police around the world to know that there is a group of Freedom Fighters that is willing to stand up against any injustice and CPU is not afraid to put their body on the line to send this message to all those police that thinks they could come into our communities and bully our brothers and sisters. Enough is Enough.
Police also need to understand that they are not the judge, jury and executioner. Their job in this unjust system is to lock up those that they so-called deem criminals.
You the audience use your own understanding on how to decipher what you see in our videos. Use you experience and knowledge of what you have live and witness thru your days in this planet and you will see the truth manifest itself.
If you see something, pulled out your phone and document it. Video does not lie!
