This could have been any one of us, or any one of our children who was falsely arrested, railroaded, and imprisioned. If we let this stand, who will be next?
Demand that the prosecutors stop covering up their frame-up of this innocent child and come clean. Demand that Davontae be freed to come home

Bob Darby, Advocate for the Homeless 2015 #3

Bob Darby, Advocate for the Homeless 2015 #3 | SocialAction2014 | Scoop.it
BOB DARBY, ADVOCATE FOR THE HOMELESS - Thursdays, 3:00 p.m. EST ~ Darby has been an advocate for the homeless for more than twenty years. Please call to speak on air at (347) 857-3293 for all broadcasts. He has a B.A. in psychology from Emory University. Darby also studied in psychology and theology in graduate school. He is a former employee of Georgia Regional Hospital, Boston State Hospital, and New Hampshire's Hanover-Darthmouth Hospital. In 1994, he co-founded Atlanta Food Not Bombs. Darby is a writer and public speaker. Darby covers subjects such as eugenics and the homeless. He also exposes how drug trafficking by U.S. officials contributes to homelessness, imprisonment and deaths of marginalized people. Darby asserts drug additions that lead to homelessness were partly facilitated by the CIA, which began trafficking herion, crack and other drugs into America years ago, sometimes with the corpses of deceased American soldiers. He cites documented proof from books by respected journalists and government records. Bob also asserts that people with serious mental illness are deliberately rendered homeless in the United States of America and deprived of psychiatric and medical health care services. Voters should petition elected officials to improve treatment and subsistence assistance for mentally ill people and those with substance abuse issues. Please use this link to contact your elected officials: http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml Your questions and comments are welcome.

Reasons to investigate

Reasons to investigate | SocialAction2014 | Scoop.it
When serious, repeat allegations of improper prosecutorial conduct in a case emerge, the district attorney's office owes it to the public to launch an internal investigation, especially in a death penalty case where the stakes are so high. Carty's conviction rested in part on the testimony of a co-defendant and a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration special agent. Retired DEA Special Agent Charles Mathis specifically accused the lead prosecutor with threatening to cross-examine him in open court about an "invented affair" he was supposed to have had with the defendant. Judging by the response from Assistant District Attorney Roe Wilson, who handles capital appeals for the office, sworn affidavits signed by key witnesses alleging prosecutorial misconduct are common for the Harris County District Attorney's Office.
