Brandon Moore's insight:

This one talks about the "what ifs". What if the players that are coming to the NBA early are going to be like a Kobe Bryant or Lebron James? What if they are one and dones like Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, John Wall or Anthony Davis? I think they should be required to take a skills test.

Brandon Moore's insight:

This article agree the ESPN's. Not only is the One and done rule ruining college basketball, but it is possibly ruining the lives of these young athletes. Maybe their career might not pan out like they had expected, then they have no education to fall back on.

Another side effect of one-and-done

The one-and-done rule is not popular. Let's lay out some pros and cons. Pro: Really talented players now kind of have to play a year of college bask
Brandon Moore's insight:

ESPN also believes the rule is terrible for the NCAA and trememdous for the NBA. The NCAA is getting unfair, because all the best players go to the same schools every year, so they smaller schools that don't get these players can no longer compete. NBA Age Limit: The Impact of the "One and Done" Rule on Both College and Pro Basketball

NBA Age Limit: The Impact of the "One and Done" Rule on Both College and Pro Basketball | One and done rule NCAA mens basketball | Scoop.it
Fans of basketball, both college and pro, have debated endlessly about the pros and cons of the "one and done" rule established by NBA Commissioner David Stern in 2005.
Brandon Moore's insight:

Again, of course the NBA is going to encourage great young talent into the league, brings marketibility, money, ticket sales, etc...

The NCAA hates this because the coaches have to work so hard to regenerate a team like last years. They waste so much money on players who plan to enter the draft after the season.
