Cate Briggs's insight:

I believe that self phone injuries happen to people that are mostly  30 and under because they all think that the person is going to be watching and most of the time they aren't. People can prevent this from happening by not texting and driving and not texting in parking lots and when the crossing the road.

#DistractedWalking? Absofreakinglutely!! A study recently conducted by researchers connected to Ohio State University shows that pedestrian cell phone-related injuries have more than doubled since 2005. These figures can be alarming! If you can't chew gum and walk at that same time, you sure can't have your nose in your cell phone and walk at the same time. Use some commonsense, please. Be safe.
