The band will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday in the amphitheater, which is located west of the Topeka Zoo and north of the Blaisdell Aquatic Center.

"Monty Python's Spamalot" is opening the summer season at Starlight Theatre, and two of the cast members grew up in the Kansas City area. Brian Sears and Janine DiVita are both excited to be back, performing in their hometown. Sears has had a successful Broadway career, including being part of the original Broadway cast of the hit musical, The Book of Mormon. DiVita also has an impressive resume, including multiple Broadway shows and a national tour.

Theatre in the Park opens its 44th season of family musical entertainment with its version of “Children of Eden.” The cast includes three members of the Jewish community — Lyndsey Agron, Ruth Baum Bigus and Paris Naster — and the show has a decidedly Jewish flavor.
